Summer in Cornwall.

It’s been a slow wet winter here. Needed some sunshine and color to cheer things up. That was my goal anyway… something that pushed the happy button.
Bit of an experiment with size… smallest one I’ve painted at 30cm square. Not sure it was quicker to paint really at all, as detail was fussier to play with at this size.

Summer in Cornwall is a magical time, with warm sunshine, gentle sea breezes, and stunning landscapes. From the rugged cliffs and pristine beaches to charming villages and quaint harbors, Cornwall offers something for everyone.

One of the best ways to experience summer in Cornwall is to visit its picturesque coastline. With over 300 miles of coastline, there are plenty of opportunities for hiking, swimming, and surfing. The turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean are a highlight, as is the abundance of wildlife, including seals, dolphins, and seabirds.

As you look at this bright oil painting of a Cornwall seascape, I’m hoping you can almost feel the warm sun on your skin and the salty sea air in your lungs. Summer in Cornwall is truly a magical time that should not be missed if you ever get the chance.
