Cissbury Ring in West Sussex is a fabulous historical hill. A 3 thousand year old Roman settlement, now just a wonderful peaceful spot with the old oaks and wild grasses.The dappled light through the beautiful tree and grass convinced me to paint it.
Just love these ancient oak trees up there.
