I love the beautiful fishing villages of the Cinque Terre in Italy. The sunshine, color, visual chaos, old stonework where everything has interesting textures… hoping i’ve captured some of that. And the water really was about this colour the day we were there.

The warm sun beats down on the terracotta rooftops and cobblestone streets, casting long shadows on the pastel-colored buildings.

Walking through the narrow alleyways, I’m surrounded by the sounds of locals chatting and the smell of fresh seafood cooking in the nearby restaurants. The town is situated on a steep hillside that leads down to the sparkling blue waters of the Ligurian Sea.

The rugged coastline is dotted with small boats, and the waves crash against the rocky cliffs, creating a mesmerizing melody. In the distance, I can see the rolling hills and vineyards that make this region famous for its wines.
Riomaggiore is a picturesque town that has so much to offer. Its beauty and charm make it a perfect subject for a painting. I hope this one does justice to a wonderful summer scene.
Love Italy!
